From January the 5th - 9th we went on a filmtrip to Berlin, Germany. Our appartement was located in Kreuzberg, best known for its very large percentage of immigrants and second-generation immigrants. Certainly that was one of the factors that made kreuzberg very interesting. The excellent and cheap food was great.
We had a tight schedule, after all, berlin isn’t that small. We started of our first day with a bit of entertaiment though, a concert of Underworld in the Colombiahalle (that was an amazing gig!). The rest of the days we stayed in the vicinity of kreuzberg, because there was just alot of street-art to be found (recommend this book about street art in Berlin) The Street-art made excellent filmstock for our vj ‘ing!. At the end of our trip we collected around 8 hours! of material and around 900! photographs. Thanks to our filming we can now entirely depend on our own vj stock.
